This page has a little history of
Christmas things that have been with us for several years
and some that are now gone.
The Carolers in this photo were purchased at Wal-Mart
in December of 1983. My Mother who is now with the Lord
went shopping with me that day while on a visit. They
have been used in our home each year since that time. The lamp
post was
purchased several years later in California. The little
dog is 26 years old and was a gift from Tim to his Mother.
They come together to make a great Christmas scene.
This little fellow was a gift from Virginia to me last
Christmas. He sings 'O Christmas Tree' as only a dog could! Annie,
did not like
this little guy. We only played it when she was in
another room.
Speaking of Annie....she
is always in our hearts. We miss her so much...and especially
at this time of year.
She is now at 'The Bridge' waiting for us with no more
pain and can run and run and never get tired.
Her 'box' sits on top of the book shelf with a picture
of her and Haylie at the pond.
The water globe was a gift to my Mother in 1974 and
was given back to me when she passed. It also is musical
and plays 'Oh Little Town of Bethlehem". The musical
angel on the
right side was purchased at the same time the carolers
were. It plays 'Hark the Herald Angels Sing'.
