Well, we spent about 3 hours on the display this evening.
Here are some pictures of what we accomplished.
TV crew is in the lower right hand corner. The Christmas
Parade is coming down the street as the police department has
the road blocked
off. There is a lot of activity in the downtown area.
More cotton batting was glued to this level and then
rocks were placed in front of it. We also added a set of railroad
crossing signs and
a used car lot.
In addition to rocks on the right side, you can see
we also added them to the left side as well.
The train car was put on the track to check clearance.
It appears that the crossing signal will need to be moved just
a little. Candy Cane
street lights are laying in the lower left corner that
will be placed in front of the Hershey and Coke Plants.
This is a closer view of the parade
Here you can see where the Coke Plant will sit. The
Hershey Plant will be where the light is laying. We will set off
Coke and Hershey
railcars on the spur line behind each plant.
In our next work session we will add additional rock
in this area.
This is a tad blurry, but you can still see the 2007
Heather Ridge Christmas Banner being carried in front of the parade.
That's it for this work day. We squeeze in these sessions
after our day of work and 'home visitation sessions'. Some of
you know
what that means. For the others who do not, we will
just leave it where it lies! (or you can visit our other Website)
Shelly's Diner....best place to eat in town!
Another view as the Christmas Parade approaches
Lighting is bad here as the morning sun was coming
in through the blinds. The Silent Night Church sets in a wooded
area. Carolers
are in front of the church and a horse drawn sleigh
carries children home. Santa is of course driving!
