Well, I decided to take a few candid shots tonight
while the grandkids were playing our 'seasonal game'
of 'find that object' in the Display. They have
a lot of fun having each other look for things on
the display. We also do the same thing at our open
house each year. We prepare a list of items
for our visitors to find. It's always a big hit
with our guests. I always tell them they can't leave
until they find everything on the list. They are
given pens to mark each thing. Seems like
all the "kids" love this game!
So, here are some pictures I took tonight. There
are few captions...just the pictures. Also note that there are
always additions and some changes that are made
from what you may see in these photos.
Notice the icicles. Want to know how they are made?
Ask me. Or,
if you know tell
me.
We have started putting the large rock around the
edge of the display.
In the past, the train control was set under the
display. I would need to get down on my hands and knees to run
the
train. Not this year. This 'old man' can't handle
that anymore. I have it on the left side on a shelf I hotglued
to the
display board. Now I don't need anyone to help me
back up! Never could find that cane anyhow!
Well, that's it for today. I've taken more shots
with my SLR and will have developed tomorrow. If they come out
good,
I'll post more from those. Still working on the
movie...so stay tuned.
A special thanks to my daughter-in-law, Tina. She
let me use her digital camera for the above shots. My old
1 megapixel needs to be replaced and someday I will
do so. Tina had her camera with her today, so I snatched it
for a few shots.
