Once again we have been working after work! Time is
precious now and
we have only a few more days until our 'goal date'
is here.
The following pictures is our most recent work on the
Display. This page is very long. Sorry if it takes a long time
to load
on your computer.
Wreaths for Sale. Sitting next to the Bank and Trust
children of Heather Ridge raise money for Childrens Miracle Network
Snowy Hills Hospital. The annual Nativity on the hospital
grounds. We expect to have a couple more bare branch tress in
a day or two
Looking down the road from the hospital
For those of you who have considered the Popcorn Vendor
at Wal-Mart....here it is in action. I've found that turning the
light
above on or off will set it off as waving your hand
just over the piece. For a non Department 56 accessory, it fits
into the
park very well
Another view of the park and popcorn vendor while not
running
Looking down the street. The building lights had been
turned off in this photo.
Another view
It appears that it is Truck Month at the Ford Dealer.
For those of you who do not know, the Mustang in the showroom
moves
on a turntable.....nice effect.
Aother view
Rather dark picture of the roller rink.
Dinah's Drive In is open for business.
Overhead view
This spur line runs behind the Coke & Hershey Plants
and next to the oil rig.
This is an overhead view of the park. We will try and
get a better picture on the next go-a-round
Now this is an interesting shot. I didn't realize how
the bus driver was standing until I looked at the picture.....oh
well.
The train depot serves as the temporary bus station.
The bus lines should have their own building by next year.
Another view
and again. We will be putting a rock fence and some
hedges on this side of the tracks
Closer view of train station
The fire station sits in front of the hospital and
to the left of the train station. We have put the lights on all
three buildings on the same
circuit as the street lights. We figured that lights
would most likely be in these buildings throughout the night
Just another view
Another view of the park area

Again looking away from the hospital
...and again...
The Glory Angels are riding into town
