Today is Monday. I was off my regular job so figured a good day to get

a lot done on the display. I work a while, then check e-mail and back to the display.

I had been less than motivated while working on the display this year and couldn't

figure out why. Then it dawned on me....like a light bulb going on.....

No Christmas Music!!!!

So, now the CDs are in the player and going while I work....kinda like the

song, 'Whistle while you work'. At least it's giving me a boost as I work.

These are pictures taken today.

Birds eye view of today's work area. We will be getting the track positioned and work on the industrial and school areas.

All the buildings have been moved out of this area to allow working space.

This picture was taken after the fence around the school was placed. Notice the baskeball court has a black court. This is again, semi-gloss

black paint. There is a ceiling fan over the display in the center of the room. A nice effect is that the flags wave when the fan is on.

Next to the school is the church school (daycare). Nanny and the Preschoolers are out for a walk. There is a clear green light in

this church to give the look of stained glass. The school has a white light.

To the right is the Hershey Plant. Candy Cane street lights are on both sides of the sidewalk. The Heather Ridge Water Tower stands

behind the Hershey and Coke Plants

To the right of the Coke Plant and between the railroad mainline and spur track is a working oil rig. This will operate as the train runs and

off the same circuit. This is not of course Dept. 56, but is to scale and looks great in our Industrial Park.

Looking further left

Another look towards the school

A closer look at the airport with runway and taxiway lights on.

Another view

After rocks have been placed. A road will run in front of the rocks

The Hershey truck is ready to make deliveries

The Coke Men are drinking up the profits!

Another view...notice manhole....soon to be covered.

Fun in the snow...on way to school
