Okay, get a good look. This is the 'only' picture you will see of the builder in these pages.

Here we are hanging the backdrop for the display. This area of the wall is 19 feet long. Then it

will turn toward the window for another 3 feet. The backdrop will stop there but the display will

be level with the window sill at that point and stop about 1 foot from the door.

Another view of the main wall. The two back light are sitting on the floor for a test. They will be attached to the display

base when the boards are brought inside.

Boards have been painted white in the garage.

Another view. If you look close, you can see the siding where our trains are parked.

Continuing with Page 1 and our second day of work.

Painted boards have been brought into the room and placed on 5 gallon buckets. This is the same base we used

last year. The buckets were donated to us by Sam's Club Floral Department. They were stored in the attic over

the last year. Note my new 'thinking chair in the lower right'. Last years chair wore out over the summer and of

course was tossed out.

This photo was taken from the hallway. The waterfall, lake and river will be on the firest board to the left.

Another view of board placement. Adjusments are made as necessary. Another upper level will be needed by the

window that was not planned for.

Here you can see the beginning of the waterfall and lakes. The height of the waterfall will be changed as you will see

in another photo below.

A corner piece of this board was cut off for the upper lake that will make the waterfall. Also you can see the

larger lake on the base board. The container holding the water will be placed below the cut out. The down spout will

be part of the waterfall to prevent splashing.

The side view.

We have taken a walk to the back yard. The covers of the under cabinet lights have been painted. This will give

the effect of dusk/dawn on the display. The lights were purchased at our local Wal-Mart. Rather than painting the

bulbs, we removed the covers and painted them. Much easier than painting a tube light.

Back inside now, you can see that the upper lake has been lowered considerably. Small plastic flower pots that were

tossed into the garden rubbish has been reclaimed for use here. They will be replaced in the spring if needed. We try

to recycle materials when possible in a variety of projects.

Saw horse clamps and 2X4s are waiting to be used as a higher level in back of the two boards to the right. It will be in

an 'L' shape.

That's it for today. More will be posted as work continues. Be sure to check back.
