Thank you for visiting our Fall

We start with a short visit to the
Confederate Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas
These photos were taken the last
part of October 2008
People from all walks of life and from various areas
visit the cemetery
A place to sit and reflect
From the cemetery we ventured to the
countryside just south of Fayetteville. This area is called White
House.
An about face from the barn on the road we were traveling
Down the road we came across this barn. It's days of
usefullness had passed years before.
A little further down the road we found this barn still
in use to store hay
The colors seemed to get stronger as we came along
this meadow with trees along the road on each side
This barn with the bowed roofline was in the field
across from the meadow
Crossing the river further along we caught this shot
with a storm blowing in
A closer view of the cliffs
Our route from the previous shot takes us down this
road
Reflections in the creek set the stage for this shot
With the water level down in the creek we were able
to get the previous shots. We had passed this area then backed
up to get the previous pictures.
On down the road we could see the rain approaching,
however in didn't prevent us from getting more beautiful shots

Take Me Home Country Road
Moving right along, we headed north on Highway 170
towards Devil's Den State Park.
What a find. We stopped to take a picture of the above
barn, then turned around and there was the one below.
Inside the park at the dam and waterfall
After leaving the dam area, we headed back south on
Highway 170. We stopped at this pavilion area that overlooked
the road we had traveled.
Moving right along Highway 170
