In 1989 a tradition started with the Scott Family. Hosting of a Christmas Event that would bring back

memories of times past and Celebrate the True Meaning of Christmas....the Birth of

Jesus Christ the Son of God.

Each year during the Christmas Season they opened their home to hundreds of family, friends,

businesses associates and total strangers. Why did they come?

To see a Christmas Display that takes them into a

fantasy miniature town where all is peaceful and happiness abounds.

A place where Christ is still the True Reason for the Season!

This year The Scotts have partnered with His Table, a food pantry in Fayetteville, Arkansas to provide the display as a outreach to

the entire Northwest Arkansas Area.

The display is now complete, and we invite everyone to visit the display in person on

Thursday, Friday or Saturday evenings from November 27 (Saturday) to January 8, 2011 (Saturday), 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM

(excluding Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year's Eve)

Special times by appointment for schools or other groups.

We have also partnered with local businesses to bring this display to the community. In exchange for donations to

our Christmas Food Blessing we provide advertising on the display for each business.

You will reconize the business signs on the display from places that you have visited locally.

Why this event?

To raise the awareness of:

Arkansas Poverty Facts
18% of population live below the Federal Poverty Average
The 4th poorest state. 503,000 Arkansans live in poverty
25% of those living in poverty are children. In fact, Arkansas has the highest child hunger rate in the country.
The average income of a Food For Seniors recipient is $79/month, after rent and utilities are paid (Arkansas Rice Depot)

On December 12, 2010, His Table in conjunction with our sponsors provided

100 boxes of groceries to Arkansas Families who have been hit hard by the economic down turn of our country.

In 2011 we will continue to reach out to our community.
